There isn't a lot going on right now, but somehow Andrew, Daniel and Jerry still manage to fill 90 minutes of hot takes.
Most of that time is spent talking about Google's showdown with the European Commission on Android's dominant position in the market, while the rest is spent between talking about Motorola's strange smartphone strategy, and why Amazon would make a pretty damn good carrier.

Action Launcher is one of the most popular launchers on the Play Store, and it just received its biggest update in years. So what better time to bring on its owner and chief developer, Chris Lacy, for a chat about its past, its present and its future?
Right now, by the way. The time is right now.

We're live from Google I/O 2017!
The Android Central team of Daniel, Jerry, Andrew, Alex and MrMobile take on all the big announcements from Google's expansive and intimidating developer conference.
Unlike last year, there weren't any huge product announcements, nor new products, but what we got — updates to Android O, Assistant, Home, Photos — and the introduction of Google Lens and standalone Daydream headsets, give us some insight into Google's AI and machine learning future.

The Android Central duo of Daniel Bader and Jerry Hildenbrand needed some reinforcements this week to dive into the new BlackBerry KEYone, so we called CrackBerry Kevin and Bla1ze of the CrackBerry team and MrMobile himself, Michael Fisher, to help us talk it out!
Is the BlackBerry KEYone a phone that everyone should be excited about, or just hardcore BlackBerry fans? And how come it took the company so long to make a phone like this? Get the inside scoop on why a phone like the KEYone was delayed for so long!

This week, Daniel is joined by Alex Dobie, Florence Ion and Jerry Hildenbrand to talk about the Galaxy S8, and whether some of the things that have been criticized about it will be fixed in the Galaxy Note 8 later this year. Will Samsung return the Note series to its specs-heavy glory, or choose to keep specs and features conservative after a rough 2016?
And the LG G6 is available this week, and it's better than we expected it to be! Does that matter when the Galaxy S8 is ready to be unboxed in under two weeks? Did LG do enough to hype it?
Finally, Comcast is launching its own wireless service called Xfinity Mobile. It's a mess of caveats and bloatware, but it also may be the best option for current Comcast customers, since it runs on Verizon's network.

This week, Andrew, Russell and Daniel talk about the biggest announcement of the week — of the month! — Android Wear 2.0 and the new LG Watch Sport and Watch Style.
Android Wear 2.0 is a pretty massive update for the nascent wearable platform, but is it good enough to convince people to take the smartwatch plunge? And why is the LG Watch Style so lacking in actual features? And have you seen my keys?

This week, Jerry, Daniel, Andrew and special guest Phil Nickinson (aka Modern Dad) start talking about the Google Pixel and end up arguing about BlackBerry. Is this 2011 all over again?
With the Pixel getting an update to Android 7.1.2, it seems that Google is ending updates for the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, two devices released back in 2014.
And we learn what Phil's been up to since leaving AC to start his own thing.

This week, Daniel, Flo and Jerry talk about the biggest upcoming launches of the year: the Galaxy S8, the LG G6. Can LG get a leg up in 2017 by releasing its phone a month before Samsung?
And we now know that Google I/O will be returning to Mountain View's Shoreline Amphitheater, but did you know that was where the Grateful Dead got its start?
Oh, and Jerry tells a story about an electric condom that you just can't miss. Trust us.

Andrew, Alex, and Daniel dive headfirst into the fiery depths of the Note 7 cancellation.
How much did Samsung know before the phone was widely released, and why didn't the company catch what was causing the first batch of phones to overheat before sending replacements? And, ultimately, how will this affect the way people look at Samsung as a company, and its future products?
